  • What panel sizes are available for the Insulclad Rendered Wall System?

    The Insulclad Core System and the Insulclad BAL-29 System both feature two panel sizes - 5000mm x 1200mm and 2500mm x 1200mm.


    The Insulclad Pre-Mesh System is available in one panel size - 2500mm x 1200mm.


  • What panel thicknesses are available for the Insulclad Rendered Wall System?

    The Insulclad Core System is available in the following four thicknesses:

    • 50mm
    • 60mm
    • 75mm
    • 100mm

    The Insulclad Pre-Mesh System is available in the following three thicknesses:

    • 50mm
    • 75mm
    • 100mm

    The Insulclad BAL-29 System is available in one thickness:

    • 75mm
    • 100mm
  • What R-Values does the Insulclad Rendered Wall System provide?

    The Insulclad Rendered Wall System with breathable, non-reflective wall wrap and 10mm plasterboard lining achieves total R-Values in accordance with AS/NZS 4859.1. and .2: 2018.

  • Why should I use the Insulclad Rendered Wall System?

    The Insulclad Rendered Wall System is a strong insulating walling system that protects your building from the weather and allows you to decorate with colour and give a textured masonry effect of your choice. Similar wall systems are used around the world and provide the highest insulating walls whilst measurably reducing ongoing energy bills.

  • Where can I buy the Insulclad Rendered Wall System from?

  • Is the Insuclad Rendered Wall System safe to use?

    Yes, the Insulclad Rendered Wall System is safe to use when installed correctly in accordance with the technical manual. The Insulclad Rendered Wall System will not allow water into the building structure, and it has been tested under Australian Standards for build materials flammability. 


    In all installations, the minimum clearance between the underside of the panel and the adjoining surface level below must comply with specifications in Part 3.5.4.7 of Volume 2 of the NCC.

  • Can the Insulclad Rendered Wall System be used in a bushfire prone area?

    Yes. The Insulclad BAL-29 System has undergone and passed BAL-29 conformance testing in accordance with AS1530.8.1-2007.


    PLEASE NOTE: The use of any render system other than the Insulclad Rendered Wall System and accessories is not covered by the scope of the Insulclad BAL-29 Certification.


    While similarly formulated acrylic render products may deliver similar BAL performance, Foamex Polystyrene Pty Ltd has not tested other render systems in this instance.

  • Where can the Insulclad Rendered Wall System be used?

    The Insulclad Rendered Wall System can be used on external walls of Class 1 and 10 Housing and Commercial projects. It can be installed by direct fix to timber or steel frame or via cavity battens. It can also be installed on battens for older walls (brick, block, weatherboard, compressed cement, fibreboard sheeting etc).
